Coronavirus:  In the light of the Government’s instructions we ask you to stay at home rather than come to your boat or caravan as sadly such visitation would not be classified as an essential journey.

Based on the Government’s timeframe this regrettably will include the Easter Bank Holiday but we will keep you posted on any updates we receive that enable us to change this request.

We have also received notification from Canal and River Trust that they are discouraging any leisure boating and are also relaxing the 14 day regulation regarding continuous cruising.

We are aware that the Caravan and Motorhome Club have also closed all sites until July 1st and assume that other member organisations and private sites will be introducing similar closures.

Our on-site staff will be walking the marina regularly and if they see anything untoward regarding your boat or caravan they will contact you to discuss. Should you have any concerns then please call Richard Cornish directly on 07743 667192.

For those needing to make a payment to us, then you can do so either via bank transfer – details on your invoice – please drop us an e mail to confirm so that we can acknowledge receipt; or by calling the harbour office on 01384 295535 to arrange making a payment via telephone.

We are sorry to make this difficult request especially when the weather is getting better but we consider that the protection of staff and customers is an absolute paramount and therefore trust that you will support us.

Did you know that Boat Safety Scheme now requires the presence of carbon monoxide alarms?

CO alarms must be in open view with all cabin doors, cupboard doors, curtains and loose furniture etc in place.  CO alarms must be marked as being certified by an accredited third party certification body to BS EN 50291 or equivalent.  CO alarms must be provided with a test-function button.
Guidance for Owners:  Although not a BSS requirement, CO alarms marked to the BS EN 50291-2 are the best choice for boats.  They have been tested to meet the more onerous conditions found in boats.  For full details ask your Boat Safety examiner or visit
