Covid-19 Update January Lockdown

Following the latest lockdown announcement by the Government, the following restrictions apply to our business:

You should not be visiting the marina at all as the Government require you to stay at home unless your visit is essential.

Boat Sales: We can only provide viewings for parties that are looking to purchase a boat as their principal residence and who are already in a position to complete. Parties that satisfy this criterion have to sign a declaration to confirm this. Parties in this position need to call our boat broker on 07702 190850 to arrange an appointment. If you are looking for a boat for leisure usage then there are videos of our boats on our website and we are happy to discuss any questions via the telephone that you have regarding any of the boats we have. We can arrange a viewing once restrictions are eased and so can take your details and contact you accordingly.

Harbour Office: This is closed but staff are taking calls and customers that live on their boats can arrange the purchase of fuel, electrical cards and other essential chandlery equipment via the phone for collection.

Boat Building and Repairs: These services are continuing but customers are reminded that they should not be coming to discuss their needs or on-going projects in person but instead need to telephone. Zoom or similar conferences can then be arranged with video support if appropriate.

Moorings: The Government require you to stay at home unless the need to visit your boat is essential. You should not be taking your boat out of the marina for a general cruise.

Please note that if you do come to the marina, the Rennie toilet block is now closed except for the chemical toilet disposal. There is no chemical disposal facility at the rear of the office buildings.

We look forward to the day when we can welcome everyone back and see everyone off on their boats.

Kind regards

The Ashwood Team
